We are pleased to announce that we recently appointed a new AR, Mark Kreling, who has joined the TEn network. We asked Mark some questions…
What were your reasons for making TEn your network of choice?
“I saw that TEn had a well-established presence in the insurance world in the UK.”
How did you find the process of becoming an AR with TEn?
“When I reached out to them, TEn were very quick to arrange a face to face meeting with the Regional Manager Philip May, who explained in person how the Network worked. I was impressed by the quick turnaround of the application, and the support they provided.”
What are your plans for Business Growth?
“I aim to become the professional person in my region to obtain advice on Insurance and Risk, by being present in the community, assisting local businesses in understanding how the right cover can assist, protect, and grow their business by being part of their professional offering.”
What is your range of experience?
“In London, I did speciality Motor Insurance and managed a department in an independent Brokerage. In New Zealand, I moved fully into Commercial Broking and spent time as a branch manager for a large Broking firm. I then worked for some years in the corporate world, in the Insurance Premium Funding business, before starting my own Brokerage in 2016, when I built up a diverse portfolio of clients from Drone Operators to Civil Engineers.”
What specialities might people seek you out for?
“I particularly like to work on professional covers – I’ve looked after clients with roles in many Professional occupations from Lighting Designers to Private Investigators, as well as Accountants, Lawyers and even Authors. I also enjoy understanding Advertisers, Web Designers and Promoters and Event Organisers and their needs and challenges. Liability for Tradespeople is also an area that I can help and advise.”
Tell us about you and your background.
“From Peterborough originally and educated in Stamford then Nottingham University. I worked in London for several years then in Insurance roles in New Zealand for over 15 years. I’m married with a beautiful wife and one young son – and God willing, another on the way, so they take up all my spare time. Family is very important to me.”
Neill Robson comments; “We are delighted to welcome Mark to the network and are looking forward to developing his business”.
